9:32 PM – Poinsettias!

I love the Poinsettia Place Suite. It’s just beautiful. I think my flowers should have been rounded the opposite direction, next time…it’s been a long day! The bundle (stamp set and dies) is already on backorder two days into the catalog going on sale. Not surprising, IMHO, it is the best poinsettia SU has offered to-date!

The die cuts out, AND embosses. Love!!

Good night, and happy stamping!

Kelly

10:35 pm – Christmas Tags!

About to head to bed, but I’ve had a wonderful time stamping pretty much all day today. I made a few thank you cards, Jackson’s birthday card and gift box, and a few Christmas tags using new product from the upcoming Holiday Mini catalog. Catalog goes on sale Tuesdays! To my customers-I have packages ready to to in the mail, just waiting on my mailing envelopes (arriving via Amazing tomorrow…finally–package got lost last week!). If you’d like a catalog, contact me!

Festive Post

Until next time, happy stamping…good night!

Inaugural Post

Time: 10:41pm

Hi! My name is Kelly Taranto and welcome to my stamping blog! I have been an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! since 2002, and a crafter for as long as my little hands could hold a needle. I am born out of a long line of crafters: sewers, mainly, but pretty much any craft you can think of, and I can do almost all of them. My favorite craft medium involves stamps, ink, and paper, and cardmaking is my most favorite thing to do. By day, I wear many hats: wife, mother of two teenage boys, and full-time fundraiser for a national nonprofit organization. Late at night, when the house is quiet, I find I have a few moments just for me and I turn into the Late Night Stamper.

One of the things I love most about my stamping life is the connection. Connection to my creativity and craft, of course, but also the connection with others. If you are familiar with Stampin’ Up!, you know they have the best stamping and paper crafting products on the market, but you may also know connection is a huge part of their values. Stampin’ Up!’s Statement of the Heart says it perfectly: To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments…in this we make a difference.

The world is facing a scary and unprecedented time. While we all are hunkered down at home avoiding Covid-19, I worry we’ll lose our connections to community. I hope this blog can add positivity to the interwebs, and allow folks to connect, creating an online community for those that want to share what they’ve made with others and help brighten their day. As my mother always says, “Who doesn’t like to receive a handmade card!?” Well, I hope this website will help give you the inspiration you need to dive into this craft for the first time, or to inspire you in a new way if you are a seasoned papercrafter.

It’s now 10:57pm – time to get started, won’t you join me?
