Dec 15 – Gingerbread & Peppermint

Today’s DSP Christmas post focuses on the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Huge thanks to Xenia Stanford, a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for sharing this with me. These are her projects.

This set of cards and tags is intended to make with the little people in your life. What a fun activity to do with a child! You do the prep and they put the pieces together. Watch the creativity flow!

Step 1: Die cut (or fussy cut) the two types of bells, snowflakes, stars, and peppermints from the DSP shown above left with the dies in the bundle.

Step 2: Fussy cut the mitts and trees from DSP. Above right are the resulting pieces cut from the DSP

Step 3: Stamp greetings onto basic white cardstock and die cut as desired.

Step 4: Using the two largest dies from the Tailor Made Tags dies, cut 4.25”x11” strips of cardstock with as many as you can cut from each strip (more strips for more cards) (Early Espresso and Real Red cardstock not used because to/from and personal note will show up on the back of the lighter colors)

Step 5: Using the two next smaller dies in the tags dies, cut as many pieces of remaining DSP as desired.

Step 6: You may wish to cut the twine and ribbon into the desired sizes (6 inch should do)

Step 7: Now you are ready to let the kids loose to make tags galore. Also shown is how easy it is to create a card using the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Cards & Envelopes.

Happy Stamping! Kelly
