Only a few more days, and I have just a few more gifts to wrap and I’m finished. You’ll see these last items (shhh, don’t tell the recipients!) and one is a gift card for a family member and I loved how it turned out so much that I decided to create a matching card for it.
These project use the Happy Holly-Days Bundle – Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set and Holly Border Punch. And, lo and behold, these are actually still available!
If you passed over this bundle in the mini catalog like I did at the beginning, you may want to take a closer look before it retires. It’s a 9-stamp stamp set with coordinating punch. The Holly Border Punch is so pretty and make for simple yet stunning projects.
Here’s the Gift Card Holder:
I don’t even really like birds, but this one is so cute and fun to color using blends.
I used the holly DSP from Painted Christmas DSP, and the Green Foil Sheets to make the belly band. And, here’s the card I designed to go with the gift card:
This is a shaker card – with the inside “shaker bits” simply being the punch outs from the Holly Border on the Gift Card Holder — how easy! That Noel is a show-stopper. And, note the dot border along the bottom – also a stamp in the stamp set that just adds that “little bit extra” your project will need. PS The Real Red 3/8″ Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon is gorgeous — and also still available – it’s in the Annual Catalog, not the mini. I’ve been using it all Christmas season and I love it more and more each time.
Happy Stamping! Kelly
