CTCS – Designer Tags Dies meets pg 82 of the Mini

Today’s Case the Catalog Sunday challenge (CTC370) is to CASE a bundle project from pages 75-83 of the Jan-June Mini Catalog. I chose to use the new Designer Tags Dies:

I CASE’d this card on page 82:

Here’s my card:

I love this little butterfly – and the tags are simply gorgoues. It was hard to pick which one to use, but I love this one with the detailed top and the stitching. I cut 10 white butterflies and then cut one in each of the 4 colors:

And, you may be wondering about filling in some of the butterflies. YES, I did…I took each of the tiny little pieces of cardstock that was die cut from the butterfly from each of the four colors and filled in some of the butterflies like the sample did on page 82 with the rainbows. I know–crazy, right? Well, I will tell you it went pretty fast because I made sure to use our Adhesive Sheets when I die cut the butterflies. When you peel away the butterfly, the little tiny pieces remain on the sheet backing. Use your Take-Your-Pick tool, and while it took a bit of time, it was not impossible thanks to these amazing tools Stampin’ Up! offers.

Now, you may be wondering what I did with the four colored butterflies. You know I made a card out of them! Check it out!

Full supplies are below, but I used the Hive 3D Embossing folder, the Designer Tags for the little tag, and the bright and fresh new Butterfly Kisses 6 x 6 DSP. So cute!

Happy week, and happy stamping! Kelly
