Happy Sunday y’all! Today I’m Blog Hopping with my NC Demos group and the theme is “A Little Scrap Goes a Long Way.” I chose to use the Cottage Wreaths bundle with scraps of the Celebrate Everything DSP. When I am stamping, I often have a little collection of bibs and bobs hanging out on the corner of my desk. Does this happen to you? Well, on occasion, I like to take those scraps and challenge myself to use them to make a card. This Blog Hop theme was challenge enough and I’m glad with how it turned out!
The little pieces of DSP were “hanging out” on my desk — leftovers from other projects I made with this amazing DSP.

I grabbed a bigger piece (the black and white trees), Real Red cardstock, and the Cottage Wreaths bundle to add to it. I am going to miss this Designer Series Paper at the end of the June-Dec Mini catalog. It is so whimsy and fun – right up my alley.
Here’s my card:

I added in a Granny Apple Green card base, and I used a Blending Brush on the whisper white tree background paper so it wasn’t so white because I really wanted with all the business for the sentiment to pop. You’ll also notice, I used the two strips of polka dot paper (the red stripes is the back side of the polka dot paper) and the wreaths were cut out of the black and white tree pattern, again, the backside. There are three layers of wreaths – two from DSP and one stamped on Basic White and fussy cut out so that I could add the sentiment in the middle. The red triangle paper I used to die cut my bow, and adhered that on top of a stamped bow.
Here’s a close up on the bow:

Hope you like my creation! I’m in the Christmas spirit now that Thanksgiving is over, and I love the whimsy fun of this project.
