NC Demo Blog Hop: Celebrating 21-23 In-Colors

Hi Stampin’ Friends! It has been a WHILE. I miss stamping and sharing my creations with you, but alas, sometimes life is busy. Today my projects are inspired by two different challenges: CTC407 – CASE the SAB Catalog and I’m participating in this month’s NC Demo Blog Hop where the challenge is to use the 2021-2023 In-Colors. Double the challenge, double the inspiration, and hoping this gets me back in the game! Anyway, welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop. After you take a look at my projects, be sure to click through the other NC Demos’ blogs to see their amazing creations!

My favorite two colors in the 21-23 In-Colors collection are Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya. I really love Polished Pink, but Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya look amazing next to Evening Evergreen. Here are my projects featuring these colors:

The layout for my projects comes directly from the SAB Catalog — the inside from cover. I love this layout because it allows you to showcase two different patterns from a DSP pack. Here’s the card I CASE’d:

Let’s take a closer look. The Pale Papaya project uses the Regency Park 6 x 6 DSP, along with a retired piece of Pale Papaya DSP from last year.

Here’s the inside of this card:

Here’s the 2nd card — this one features Fresh Freesia and the free Dainty Flowers 12 x 12 DSP that was offered in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. NOTE: Sale-A-Bration ends in TWO days and there are still plenty of wonderful products you can earn for free with a $50 or $100 order. Check it out by visiting my online store!

Here’s the inside of this card:

When you’re stumped for a color combination, try green and purple — it’s always a perfect combo!

For both of these cards, I used the Sentimental Park Bundle. This bundle has huge stamp set (23 stamps!) and die set (18 dies!), and the labels are darling.

Hope you enjoyed my projects. All products used are listed below and you can shop them all by clicking the button at the bottom. After you shop, take a few minutes and hop through the full blog hop! Next up in the hop is the very talented Tracie Evans Langley. You can get to her blog by clicking the arrow, or following the roll call below.

Happy Stamping! Kelly

  1. Very pretty cards. It’s always a great suggestion to use our catalogs for inspiration. Great post

    1. Thank you!! Years ago, the SU Catalog was called the “Idea Book and Catalog.” I love using their publications (and website too!) for inspiration!
