It’s the last Sunday of the month which means Blog Hop time with my NC Demo Friends! Today’s theme is “accessories make everything better.” I agree! Just like adding accessories to make an outfit really shine, the same applies in cardmaking. After you take a look at my projects, be sure to click through the other NC Demos’ blogs to see their amazing creations – links below.
Stampin’ Up! offers some products as part of a “suite,” and when they do, that means coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP) and sometimes ribbon, embellishments, embossing folders, etc. So for this month’s theme, I chose the Ready to Ride Suite of products.
I am thrilled for this new product. With a few motorcycle-loving people in my life (including my husband and father-in-law) I have been using the old retired Born to Ride set by Stampin’ Up! for years. When I saw this suite I new it was a must for my craft collection. The suite includes gorgeous specialty DSP with black foiling on the A side and lovely patterns and mini cards on the B side. It also includes a wonderful 3D embossing folder called Metal Plate and Adhesive Backed Studs. LOVE!
One of the sheets of the DSP has these pre-designed mini card panels. Here’s what they look like:
I’m featuring the two “tags” of this sheet here with my projects.
Let’s take a closer look. Here’s the first card:
For this card, in addition to the DSP, I used the Metal Plates 3D folder, Adhesive Backed Studs, and the Black and White Gingham ribbon.
And here’s card #2:
For this one, I also used the Metal Plates 3D embossing folder, studs, and ribbon. I mounted the die cut motorcycle onto vellum and love how that looks.
More to come with this Suite this week. Until then, hop through the full blog hop to see other Accessories. Next up in the hop is the talented Tonya Bowers. You can get to her blog by clicking the arrow, or following the roll call below.

I must admit, this set wasn’t one that I was drawn to when I saw it in the catalog. So I overlooked the DSP and that cool sheet of mini panels! What a quick way to create cards 🙂 I love your designs!
Thank you so much Toni!
Kelly, your cards are great. That black and white gingham ribbon goes so well with the checker board. I loved the way you took advantage of the suite. Thanks for sharing!
