Last day of Christmas in July week featuring the new One Horse Open Sleigh designer series paper. These two cards are quick and easy – perfect for Christmas cards if you need to make a bunch of cards, or if you’re in a jam during the busy holidays and need something quickly.
Let’s take a closer look. The Christmas Lodge looking one uses smoky slate cardstock. The greetings were made from sentiments are from Ringed with Nature stamp set.
The Banners Pick A Punch is perfect for a quick, layered label. I added the silver trim from Simply Elegant Trim.
The 2nd card uses a scene with a fox, so I used similar colors for the base – crumb cake and cajun craze:
Note! If you are matting your top layer with a cardstock, don’t let the middle go to waste! I used the Nested Essentials Dies (new in this Annual Catalog) and before I adhere the fox scene DSP layer onto the Cajun Craze, I die cut the larger label and then was able to use that to layer on my sentiment label. Here’s what I mean:
