I’ll Have a Pink Christmas

Happy Sunday Friends! It’s the last Sunday of the month, and I’m hopping tonight with my NC Demos group. The theme for this month’s NC Demos’ Blog Hop is “I’ll Have a Pink Christmas.” And extra bonus points if we used a non-Christmas stamp set. As always with a blog hop, you’ll want to “hop along” to the next Demonstrator to see her amazing projects. For my Pink Christmas card, I used a new product coming out the Jan-Apr 2024 Mini Catalog called Bee Mine Suite.  I’ve been using this suite for a swap I am in, to get ready for a Christmas stamping event I’m having in December, and just to have fun and take a break from holiday projects. So, I thought “why not?” when I was thinking of what to use for this Blog Hop.

Let’s Bee Pink…and Merry!

Let’s take a look at my very non-traditional, and whimsy, Pink Christmas card:

Is this the cutest!? As mentioned, I am LOVING the Bee My Valentine stamp set and Bee Builder Punch. It’s making the cutest cards (can’t wait to show you them!) I added a Santa hat to make him a Christmas bee — so he can spread Christmas cheer with his “Bee Merry” message!

The Santa hat came from the Sending Cheer dies. I used the smaller of the two dies that make white fluff, the little fluff ball, and the hat:

These dies are amazing and are retiring soon, and on sale for only $21! A steal for 18 dies. The also coordinate with the Sending Cheer stamp set — also retiring and on sale for $14…Shop my store today to get these for your collection.

The hat was a little too big for my bee, so I simply traced 1/8″ line inside the edge and cut it out — it fit perfectly!

The pinks used are Petal Pink (card base), Flirty Flamingo (bee lines and layer behind the words) and Sweet Sorbet (kinda pink?) merry letters and hat. Let’s take another look at this card:

As I was making this card I was inspired to make a similar card design, but this time saying “Oh Christmas Bee” instead of “Oh Christmas Tree!” Take a look:

I love these cards, and love the bee. You’ll be seeing more of this in the coming weeks. Hope you like my non-traditional Christmas cards.

Now, let’s Hop!

As always, I’m so grateful to you for stopping by. Now, let’s see what the others have done with this challenge! Click the next arrow to hop over to Tracie Evans Langley’s blog!

  1. Too stinkin’ cute and creative! I would have never thought to use this set for Christmas. Well done, Kelly!!

  2. Kelly – What a brilliant way to use the bee image in a Christmas card! And, creating the Santa hat from the Sending Cheer dies is a great idea. Thanks so much for sharing.
