NC Demos Hop – Sketch It Out!

It’s the last Sunday of the month (how!?), which means it’s time to hop with my NC Demos group. You might have already stopped by Joanne Hewin’s Blog, but if you are just popping in this month our theme this month was to use a sketch from page 22 of the Annual Catalog or from page 12 of the January to April Mini Catalog to create a card or tag! I love this new feature of Stampin’ Up!’s catalogs, and hope they continue this in the new Annual Catalog this spring.

I chose the sketch circled here from page 22 of the Annual Catalog:

I’m using DSP strips from the Wildflower Birthday DSP. Let’s take a look at this paper — it is GORGEOUS.

And, because it so pretty, I want to be sure to use every scrap. This sketch is perfect for that. Let’s take a look at my card:

The circle is from the Stylish Shapes dies and the cake is from the DSP pack. You get 10 sheets of double-sided designs, some with party designs, some with all-purpose designs, and some with tags. You also get 2 sheets of ready-to-use die cuts, like the cake here. The sentiment is from the free Sale-A-Bration set called Day to Celebrate. This set is free with any purchase of $60.

Let’s take one more look at my card:

Now, let’s see what the others have done with new products! Visit the roll call below, or click the next arrow below to head over to Frances Wagner’s Blog.

  1. Kelly, this was almost my sketch choice for this month, lol! I have so many scrap pieces of DSP lying around and this sketch is just perfect for that. I love the colors as well, you did a great job with this 🙂
