Stamping With Friends – Designer Series Paper

Today I’m hopping with my Stamping With Friends group and our challenge is pretty simple – showcase Designer Series Paper! DSP is hands-down my top favorite product Stampin’ Up! sells. Their papers are just gorgeous, and you can make a really stunning project, with limited supplies and time!

I had a whole other card planned for this blog post, but then talked to my friend June and she showed me a card she made using DSP and WOW – I just had to do it. So, I switched it up and ended up making three different cards. I love this sketch with DSP because it forces you to do some extreme pattern mixing…something I LOVE to do in my projects.

Did you know that Stampin’ Up!’s DSP has an A side and a B side? Here’s what each is:

• A Side (Front): Usually features a more prominent or intricate pattern, image, or design, often intended to be the main visual focus.
• B Side (Back): Presents a complementary or coordinating pattern, often simpler, tonal, or with a different texture, designed to harmonize with the “A side” while offering a contrasting option.

I think this is why I love SU’s DSP so much…it is so versatile, and has built-in coordination. So, I can *FEEL* like a pattern-mixer-master, but really the paper is doing all the work!
