CTCS: With Love of Knitting

It’s not sunday, but we’re CASE’ing today anyway! Another card using the Crafting with You Bundle – this time focused on the knitting basket. A pretty simple design, and CASE’d from the catalog.

The card I CASE’d is on page 117:

Here’s my version of this card:

A new annual catalog means a whole new crop of new samples to CASE. YAY!!

Hope you love this card as much as I do!

Happy stamping! Kelly

Kylie Bertucci’s Demo Training Blog Hop – Customer Thank Yous

Happy New Catalog! I have spent the past few week catching up in my craft room. Saying goodbye to one catalog and welcoming in the new Annual Catalog, with a color refresh, has taken a bit of my time, and I am enjoying all of it! Today I’m blog hopping as part of the Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Program and what a perfect time to jump back into my blogging by joining my fellow demonstrators in sharing our thank you cards for customers.

I’m using a new favorite bundle from the Annual Catalog: Crafting With You Bundle. Oh! This bundle is really really fun, and perfect to use when sending a card to a fellow crafter.

Let’s take a closer look at this bundle:

I will be showing more cards with this and all the bits and pieces, but for now, wanted to highlight a sentiment in this set: “Sending you a handmade hug.” Let’s take a closer look at the card:

I paired this sweet with a new favorite DSP: Countryside Inn that uses this color combination:

I stamped the easel (with sentiment and flowers), basket, and paintbrushes, die cut them out. I also die cut some borders using the Basic Borders Dies and then layered it up on my card.

Thanks for looking, and keep hopping along with others by following the Roll Call below!

Roll Call:

Last Day of Flowers & More

Today I’m Stamping with My Friends group and our blog hop today is focused on retiring product. I’m closing out the week of posts featuring the Flowers & More DSP and the Framed Florets Bundle. If you’ve missed my other posts, go back in my blog and check them out! There were a bunch of projects this week because I LOVE this designer series paper so much. Be sure to follow along the blog hop using the Roll Call at the bottom of this post.

Here are my projets today:

I used our in-colors: Sweet Sorbet and Tahitian Tide and mounted a diagonal piece of DSP onto a layer of opposing cardstock – and used that same color for the frame. The photos don’t do these cards justice because the background is actually clear embossed to add texture and dimension.

I like how these turned out — something different! And, I love these products. Sad to see them go – especially after using them all week! Now onto the rest of the blog hop — hop along using the Roll Call below! Below that are links to shop these supplies.

Happy stamping, and happy weekend! Next week I might start showing some new product from the new Annual Catalog coming out in 3 weeks…stay tuned! Kelly

Fun Fold Friday Flowers & More

Happy Friday! Carrying on this week with this Flowers & More DSP. I love love love it! So, to showcase this gorgeous double-pattern DSP, I close this Triple Accordion pattern that I got from my stamping friend Linda Moore – check her post out here.

Let’s take a look a closer look at these cards. Here’s the front:

Because of the fold, you do need a belly band. The band measures 1 1/4 x 11 in Fresh Freesia. I added the oval from Framed Florets with dimensionals – make sure to only add the dimensionals to the belly band so the recipient can pull the band off and on.

Now let’s take a look at these gorgeous insides of these cards!

Measurements: Score a 5 1/4 x 12 piece of DSP at 2, 5, and 8. Add white panels: 1 @ 1 3/4 x 5, 2 @ 2 3/4 x 5, and 1 @ 1/4 x 11. Decorate the white panels and adhere. Fold the DSP up and adhere to a card base that measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

So so SO pretty!! I love how these turned out, and I love this fold to showcase this gorgeous paper. This paper also goes perfectly with the Framed Florets stamp set. I used Memento black ink and blends to color the images in.

Again, this fold I picked up from Linda Moore. I will be participating in a blog hop with her and other stamping friends tomorrow, so be sure to check back for my last post of the week featuring the Flowers & More DSP. Oh, and like these projects this week? Shop my online store while these retiring supplies last.

Happy Stamping! Kelly

Flowers & More Masculine Card

Quick post today, but wanted to show that the Flowers & More designer series paper can also make a simply classic masculine card.

The striped paper comes from the Flowers & More DSP:

I love it! I used the Framed Florets dies to add some texture/dimension and used a stamp from the He’s All That stamp set from the Annual Catalog.

Flowers & More and Framed Florets

This week I’m showing the Flowers & More designers series paper, and the rest of the week I will be pairing this DSP with the Framed Florets bundle that is retiring. (WHY!?)

This card was a quick one — made with a scrap card base I had on my desk. This card base is Sweet Sorbet, and it’s an A2 -sized card, but scored at 3″ on the one side and 1 1/4″ at the other to make a fun gatefold.

Add pieces of DSP to each flap, and then decorate by adding a Framed Floret oval and spigs and a flower from the bundle. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark and embossed in white.

Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels and voila!

Thanks for looking, and see you tomorrow! Kelly

Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop – Thank You Cards

Hi friends! Today I’m hopping along with fellow demonstrators as part of the Kylie and Bruno Bertucci’s Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop where we showcase our monthly customer cards. I went to town this weekend using the Flowers & More 12 x 12 designer series paper — this paper is right up my alley: fun color combinations, bright and bold. For my April customer cards, I’m pairing it with the Simply Fabulous stamp set that was brand-new in this year’s Annual Catalog that is, sadly, already retiring AND the Layering Circle Dies – also retiring. Say it ain’t so! Anyway, I thought it was fitting to showcase two retiring products as we wait for new products to come out soon. Take a look at my creations — and be sure to follow along with my fellow demonstrators using the roll call below for even more inspiration!

Let’s take a closer look at the three retiring products I used:

Oh, I’m sad. I love all three of these. Let’s take a closer look at the cards:

I love these cards so much. I know I’ve said this before…but Stampin’ Up’s coordination among their products (inks, paper, stamps, and accessories) is a top reason I love this company and their products. I often don’t have very much time, but I love to be creative and have a creative outlet. The product coordination make that easy and possible. Have I mentioned how much I love the designer series paper in particular?! HA! It makes me so happy.

I mean, come on!! It’s so so beautiful! (I’ll be featuring this DSP all week).

Thanks for looking, and keep hopping along by following the Roll Call below.

Tea Boutique – Flower Background

These two cards using products from the Tea Boutique set both have a scattered floral background. I used the floral images in the stamp set and stamped a random background in the same color as the cardstock. Here’s one in Fresh Freesia:

And here’s a second one using Crushed Curry:

The Fresh Freesia card only uses the floral stamps and a sentiment — add that pretty DSP and some Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems and you have an interesting card! I also used the retiring postage stamp punch as well.

The Crushed Curry card is a mini slimline card. I stamped the middle cup in coral and then colored in the lines with Petal Pink blends. I masked that cup with a post-it note and stamped the two Night of Navy floral cups so it looked like they were “behind” the cup in the middle. Note: this card uses The Late Night Stamper’s signature colors:

I love how it these turned out — two completely different cards, but similar technique.

Thanks for following along, and happy stamping! Kelly

Tea Boutique Card Sketch

Happy hump day! Celebrating the Tea Boutique suite of products this week. Today’s projects were made using a card sketch.

Here’s the card sketch I used:

Love how these turned out. Let’s take a closer look at each card:

Card A

Card B

Besides the Tea Boutique suite of products, I also used the retiring Stitched Rectangle Dies as well as the new Basic 3D Embossing Folders (they are an Online Exclusive product and currently backordered, but we can order those in May.)

Which card do you like better — A or B? Leave me a comment. Personally, I like B better, but they’re both so fun!

Have a great day, and do something crafty! Kelly

CTCS: Favorite Retiring Product – Tea Boutique

It’s Case the Catalog Sunday and today’s challenge (CTC413) is to CASE your favorite retiring product. There are many products I’m sad to see go, but the Tea Boutique Suite has been one of my favorite suites since the Annual Catalog release last year.

The Cup of Tea stamp set and Teacup Dies were brand new this year, so it’s odd they aren’t going to carryover to the new Annual Catalog – especially since there isn’t a stamp set in the new catalog with a cup (coffee or tea!) Alas…this week I’m going to celebrate this suite of products and share a few projects.

My card uses the Tea Boutique 6 x 6 paper as well as the products in the Cup of Tea stamp set and Teacup Dies. The card design was CASE’d from a project in the catalog:

I love this little treat bag project and especially liked the tag. That and combined with the lemon pattern and the little lemon die, and I love how this turned out!

Stay tuned the rest of this week for more projects with this suite!

Happy stampin, Kelly
