Happy Memorial Day! Hope you were able to spend time with family and relaxing today. On this holiday weekend I’ve spent a bunch of time cleaning out my stamp room, making a big pile of retired product to sell, and finishing up home/kid projects I’ve had on my to-do list for weeks. I was able to squeeze in some stamping time this weekend, including making these two cherry cards using the new Sweetest Cherries bundle (and of course, the new In-Colors) and they screamed summer and Memorial Day to me so I thought I’d share.
First, here’s the bundle:
Isn’t the Cherry Builder punch the cutest?! Here’s the first card — using almost all of the new In-Colors, including Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, and Starry Sky.
I love the crosshatch image in this stamp set–it makes a perfect background! I also love the sentiments…and of course the cherry it self. So so cute! This card also uses the 2022-2024 In-Color 6 x 6 Glimmer Paper and the Stitched Shapes Dies.
The 2nd card also uses the In-Color Glimmer paper (both were made with leftover pieces I had from another project) as well as a pattern from the Hues of Happiness DSP.
These cherries are so fun and cheery, they make a perfect card for a friend.
