One More Harvest?

Happy Labor Day weekend y’all! Before I turn the page on a new week (since I have an extra day this weekend) I wanted to share one more project using the Harvest Meadow Suite Collection. With this post I’m also starting a new series: Case the Catalog Sunday.

Stampin’ Up!’s catalogs are chock full of beautiful projects and I often start right with the catalog for inspiration. CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything or I’ve also heard Copy And Slightly Edit (because if you didn’t change it a little bit it would just be “copy” right?) Anyway, I cased the card on page 54 of the new catalog:

It isn’t really the same…but I loved the idea of the using the Diamond Weave Ribbon on a slant. I also like that you can use refills to dye that ribbon any color you wish. I was short on time, so rather than using refills and “dyeing” the ribbon, I used Misty Moonlight Blends to color the ribbon. I also used two pieces of DSP scraps rather than a full quarter sheet.

The cone flower was die cut in Basic White and I used blends to color it. And, of course, there is more of the Cork 12 x 12 Specialty paper! Love it…

Get creative this weekend and happy Stamping! Kelly
